I stayed at Les Ormeaux for a night in Sauternes and it was perfect. The BnB is centrally located in the heart of the village, with easy parking nearby. The recently renovated rooms have tasteful decor and comfortable beds. The shower was great and the aircon was much appreciated. The hosts, Eric and Isabella, were lovely and served a simple but delicious breakfast in the sun. And my daughter absolutely loved the pool! Minutes away, we found delightful local restaurants like La Petite Guinguette and Le Saprien. Close by, we visited the famous Chateau D’yquem, which I highly recommend taking a tour of.
Couldn't recommend this hotel more!

I had an exceptional stay at Les Ormeaux. The location was perfect for exploring the surrounding vineyards near Bordeaux. The host, Isabelle, was warm and charming, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. After a long drive in the summer heat, the swimming pool was a refreshing bonus. The rooms were not only extremely comfortable but also furnished with tasteful decor. The shower was excellent, providing a great start to the day. Breakfast in the adjoining cafe/bar added to the delightful French cafe atmosphere. I highly recommend this no-frills lodging for its value for money and wonderful experience.

The rooms were clean and cozy, and the staff were attentive and friendly. the hotel was located in the heart of a charming small town, with easy access to local restaurants and shops. the price was also very affordable, which was a great advantage.
Some communication misunderstandings occurred with the staff during breakfast due to the language barrier. Although we managed to get by, it was a bit uncomfortable at times.

We stumbled upon this charming B&B in the center of a quaint village, perfect for a stopover. the hosts were welcoming and attentive, providing a traditional breakfast. the tastefully decorated room had a homey feel, and the bathroom had plenty of hot water. Air conditioning was appreciated, and the pool was a refreshing bonus. It was a short walk to local restaurants, and a quick drive to nearby chateaux.
The soundproofing could be improved as noise from the hall and other rooms was noticeable.

We got great value for our money at Les Ormeaux. The rooms were simple, but clean and functional, and the location was perfect. The staff, especially Eric and Isabella, were incredibly welcoming and went above and beyond to make our stay memorable.
Breakfast choices could have been better. The language barrier made it difficult to communicate our preferences, and it seemed like the owners were hesitant to offer more than the allocated portions.
